Born and brought up in Florida, U.S.A., Chef David Ansted Jr. completed his graduation from Culinary Institute of America, New York and comes with with over 25 years of industry experience. At the early age of fourteen David started working in the hospitality industry. And has since, steadily pursued his career as a culinarian and hotelier.
In his expansive career, David was fortunate to train with celebrity chefs like Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck and Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons. His experiences range from boutique hotels, very large casino-resorts, Michelin star restaurants, private clubs and five star hotels.
He has successfully opened ten restaurants, including a first time 500 seat multi-cuisine concept restaurant, in the heart of Singapore. From The Fat Duck in UK to St. Regis in Singapore, Ritz Carlton in Jamaica, The Banyan Tree in Seychelles, Shangri-La Taipei and Fairmont Southampton, David believes that he learns as much from his colleagues as they do from.
